Dr. Lyman is the only surgeon in the Coeur d’Alene region who routinely uses computer navigation for knee replacement surgery, which has been shown to be more accurate than conventional technologies. This technology allows use of interactive computer guidance to accurately size, position and balance the knee prosthesis inter-operatively.

In addition, Dr. Lyman uses postoperative home intermittent compression devices and closed-system cooling devices to make recovery more reliable and convenient.
